What are some details about the writing of the Veil’s Edge series?

The series was initially to be 7 books in total, but as the story (stories) grew, each “book” has been divided into 2 parts, each part published as a separate volume. Once the series is complete, there will be 14 books in total.

Carla Maria Athertron began the adventure of creating the series in June of 2023, but says that the books have been percolating throughout her life through personal and professional experience, creative expression, and now the inspiration to bring it all together and tell is as story.
